Web designers recent projects

Wedding photography needs a strong contemporary design without losing that friendly personal touch.  Chatty, conversational text makes all the difference and a wedding day tips & trivia section adds to the sense of fun.  The striking front page (left) gives a continuous slide show with visitor controls while the inside pages feature protected photographs, a matching 'gallery' template for use with Adobe Photoshop, and a wedding day count-down timer.  Standards compliant CSS layout.

This tennis & squash club in Sheffield wanted to replace their existing website with something a little more contemporary and easier to maintain.

We dodged balls and players to take new photographs of the club's facilities and created a standards compliant site with a clean, cool look and feel.  Built with expansion in mind the site will be extended in stages to give a comprehensive online resource for club members.

This Blackburn based engine refurbishment company wanted a brochure style web site to emphasise the range of work they can undertake - from lawn mowers to buses, motorbikes to marine diesels!

Abbeydale Associates mixed new photographs with those available from a previous web site to provide both continuity and a bit of fresh thinking - and a hint of humour helps people remember the site..

Another engineering company, this time in Sheffield.  A fairly comprehensive brochure website covering a wide range of products with a site that uses a space saving drop down navigation menu and a 'breadcrumb trail'. This lets visitors keep track of where they are and how to find what they want next.  Used very successfully with a pay-per-click campaign and recently subject to additional work to further improve search engine ranking and appearance.

Left: an arts group in lancashire uses this web site to promote local artists and crafts people.  Designed to appeal both the artists themselves and to users of art perhaps looking to place a commission.  A little bit of scripting shows a random selection of works on the home page so everyone gets a bit of publicity.

Right: another photography site, this time specializing in family portraits of babies and young children.

A brochure site for a Sheffield based permanent makeup specialist showing a clean design and slightly clinical look to inspire confidence.  Abbeydale orgainised a photo-shoot featuring recent clients and used the site owner's large picture library for the comprehensive gallery page.

Right: a life coaching site with a plain, clean, design and a lot of behind the scenes work to handle automated delivery of on-line coaching courses and an integrated support forum.
